Hiking Award Program
The plan is that we keep track of the miles hiked by the scouts. The Cubmaster has the Packmaster computer program to record all the hiking activities while the scouts are in our pack.
The awards plan is based on mileage accumulated for pack-sponsored hikes only.
At 8 miles, a hiking patch is awarded,
16 miles, a water bottle carier ,
24 miles, a water bottle (TBD, preferably lexan),
32 miles, a walking stick ,
40 miles, a leather grip for the walking stick.
